Daniel P. Carroll has over 40 years of trial experience with an emphasis in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury and other civil litigation cases primarily for the defense.

After initially practicing in a small plaintiff's firm, he joined the district attorney's office of Allegheny County as an Assistant District Attorney where he prosecuted criminal cases.

In 1978, Attorney Carroll joined the firm and changed the focus of his practice to civil litigation. This included the areas of product liability, premise liability, auto negligence, insurer bad faith and zoning. However, his major emphasis has been and continues to be in the defense of medical malpractice matters.

In his career, he has tried over 100 jury cases to verdict.

Attorney Carroll has been invited to speak at Continuing Legal Education Seminars (CLE), medical schools, physician and hospital groups.

Attorney Carroll has received an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell. In 2007 he was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. He has been an invited member of the Allegheny County Academy of Trial Lawyers since 1991.

In addition, he is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Defense Institute and Allegheny County Bar Association.
